Recruitment Specialist 
Say Ça! is a charity that offers French and English tutoring sessions, mentoring activities, as well as cultural outings to newcomer youth to Canada (aged 12 to 18).   
5h/week +/- 
3-6 months of commitment  
 
Required Qualifications  
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French Excellent level of competence and accuracy with Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 
Experience working with charities and community organizations     Experience in recruitment or in volunteer coordination Initiative and ability to work independently   Graphic design knowledge, an asset Adherence to the mission and vision of Say Ça!  
 
Position Overview   
We are looking for a Recruitment Specialist that is responsive and capable of working independently. The Recruitment Specialist will be in charge of the recruitment process from beginning to end. The Recruitment Specialist is capable of answering multiple emails and confident interviewing applicants. There is a higher level of demands during our 2 annual recruitment waves at the beginning of the school semesters. The Recruitment Specialist works closely with the IT, Communication and Social Media Coordinator, Volunteer Coordinator and Youth Coordinator. 
 
Responsibilities   
Recruitment Strategy 
Post volunteer positions on specialised websites and resources platforms Communicate with the IT, Communication and Social Media Coordinator to ensure volunteer positions are published on Say Ça!’s website and social networks Develop advertising strategy to bring in new volunteers Check recruitment inbox daily  
Selection and Interviewing of applicants 
Review and shortlist applications based on evaluation form Coordinate and conduct interviews 
Close communication with Volunteer Coordinator and Youth Coordinator 
 
Additional Comments  
The majority of the work will be done remotely, at the time and place chosen by the volunteer. It is also possible to work with the rest of the team at our Concordia office on Saturday mornings. This mandate can be provided by one person, or a team of two.   
 
This job requires a police background check.
