WHY CONTRIBUTE ?

To support our mission

A place of memories, sharing, and renewal, the MUMAQ is a testament to the need to preserve and disseminate objects that shape the culture of Quebec, from Nouvelle-France to today. Now more than ever, help us grow the only fine crafts museum in Quebec, and witness of the creativity and know-how of local artisans and artists.

To offer greater accessibility

To increase accessibility to an emblematic place, to its collection, to its educational and cultural activities, and to research. To build a digital space to service the community and honour heritage and fine crafts lovers.

To shape the timeless

To inspire the creators and artists of today and tomorrow and to promote an appreciation of the aesthetic and technical qualities of objects from textile arts, ceramics, jewellery, cabinetmaking, blown glass art, leather, and more. To pay tribute to renowned artists and artisans who are often anonymous, who create artifacts that have played an important role in establishing the society of Quebec. To meld know-how and exceptional techniques into a timeless collective heritage.
