Pink Shirt Day is the day we remember the 2 young men in Eastern Canada who "showed up" and responded when a peer experienced bullying for wearing a pink shirt to school. Now more than ever, it is vital we approach each situation with kindness, respect and dignity. They did not retaliate or respond with anger or blame. Instead, they CHOSE to respond with KINDNESS. By all of us wearing pink on February 24, we share the message that love and kindness is stronger and louder than bullying and that you are never alone and there are many who are available and want to help in moments of need.
