The Board of Directors of Geordie Theatre is hosting its third and final online trivia night of the season. Please join us – wherever you are in the world – as we raise much-needed funds for Geordie’s upcoming 41st season. Whether it’s your first time or your team is competing for the season championship, you don’t want to miss what is sure to be another fun and exciting evening.
The event will feature five rounds of 10 general knowledge questions. The quizmaster will broadcast all questions, sounds, and images via Zoom. We’ll cover basic science, world history, pop music, classic superheroes, and much more. We will aim to make questions accessible to the full spectrum of players, from children (ages 10 and up) to grandparents and from university professors to causal Jeopardy viewers. And there will be prizes for the highest scoring squads of the evening as well as a special Geordie-themed grand prize for our series champions!
Teams can have up to four members. Each team will submit their answers via Google Forms. All players must remain muted throughout the duration of the event. As such, you will need to have a second means of communications going (via phone, Google Meet, Facetime, What’sApp, etc.) to discuss responses among your teammates if you are not in the same location. Be sure to check your internal communications system and processes ahead of time. Unfortunately, we will not be able to help you troubleshoot.
All proceeds go to Geordie Theatre. The suggested donation is $15 per person or $50 per team of four.
