The Gender Based Violence Project is excited to offer a workshop series about gender based violence (GBV) and supporting the 2SLGBTQ community. This community-driven series aims to address the significant challenges 2SLGBTQ people face when trying to access supports for GBV.

This series is for service providers, educators, healthcare providers, and anyone interested in learning how to be a 2SLGBTQ-affirming service provider. The GBV workshop series is 12 hours of training and is made up of 4 modules (3 hours per module). Each module includes an online, interactive workshop and a corresponding guidebook with information, activities, and further learning opportunities.

Throughout the series, we will explore how GBV impacts 2SLGBTQ people in different contexts, how to appropriately identify and respond to GBV, how GBV can be prevented in service provision, and how to support healing for 2SLGBTQ people. Excited to get started? We are too!
