Welcome to Skifest 2021, virtual edition! For the past 28 years, the annual RMH Skifest has brought together Ottawa’s business community for a full day of winter fun. Due to the global pandemic, our event has moved online this year. 

As an essential service, RMHC Ottawa has remained open throughout the global pandemic. Pediatric illness will not stop for COVID-19, and neither will we. In order to continue to adapt and support our families, we need your help.  

This year our goal is to raise $100,000 to keep our doors open and our families served as they continue to navigate their child's medical needs. Our incredible Skifest sponsors have committed to supporting us as we move our event online, and we are excited to see how our individual teams step up, too! 

Here is how you can continue #keepingfamiliesclose as we navigate the challenges that COVID-19 will place on our House and families in 2021:  

STEP ONE

Choosing your team. Get the 2020 team back together or create a new one with colleagues, friends or family that you’ve been missing. 

STEP TWO

Start your fundrasier by clicking on the FUNDRAISE button and setting your goal – Each team is asked to raise a minimum of $1200. This is what it would normally cost a team of four to participate in our ski day. It also provides families with twelve Nights of Comfort at our House! 

STEP THREE

Get creative! Once you complete the online sign up, you will receive a confirmation e-mail to personalize your team fundraising page. Make your page your own by customizing your description, sharing how long you have been involved with Skifest, uploading photos from events past – let us know if you need support with this step. 

STEP FOUR 

Share your fundraising page with your network and ask them to contribute.
