We know you understand what it means to be part of a resilient, brave and adaptable community and we’re excited to announce that this year, we’re coming together virtually to show our support for the Walk to End ALS! We’re turning the June Walk events across the province into an online experience in light of the evolving situation with coronavirus (COVID-19) and physical distancing measures being taken to stop its spread.
40% of all monies
we raise from this campaign will go to ALS Canada to help support research
into ALS and finding a cure. This 40% that we will raise will also be
matched by Brain Canada. So again to be clear, 60% of all funds we
collect from this campaign will help support those affected by ALS
right here in Saskatchewan and 40% will go to ALS Canada for research and finding a cure
and that amount will be doubled by a national partner.
Supporting the ALS Society of Saskatchewan allows us to continue providing emotional support to those affected by ALS, provide equipment and adaptive technologies, be with them every step of the way and make sure that they have a voice protecting them and their interests.
Our Executive Director remains available at all times to
help you of you need any more details. Our office number is 306-949-4100
or email is firstname.lastname@example.org.
ALS doesn’t stop and neither will we. We invite you to join us online along with our national and international ALS communities on Global ALS Awareness Day: Sunday, June 21, 2020 and help us achieve our goal of raising $100,000!
Your Walk to End ALS support team!
