I'm going to Rwanda in November, for two weeks, as part of the joint mission of doctors and nurses from the MMS Foundation to care for women who suffered serious implications of complicated deliveries. The extent of obstructed labor in Africa is vast and alters the daily livings of huge number of women around this poor continent. We aim to provide the best surgical and medical care to allow those affected women to become once again part of their local communities.
I've been part of this amazing endeavor for the last 5 years, and I still cannot fully comprehend the tremendous effect we have on those women's lives.
Your donations will help pay for surgery and medications for 15 women, as well as for their hospital stay fees (transportation, food, hospital room, etc.). You will also help cover our volunteers' travel expenses. To learn more about our work, you can watch this short 3-minute video
Please support us and donate.
And don't forget to subscribe to our Facebook
