On July 29, 2019, at the age of 47, I was struck down by a heart attack. I was rushed to the Montreal Heart Institute, my condition was deemed critical; I was operated on urgently.
Unfortunately, a year and a half later, after numerous tests, the doctors decided that I needed a heart transplant.
In the meantime, I am organizing a fundraiser to help the Montreal Heart Institute Foundation.
Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in the world and health is important to me.
Why am I appealing to your generosity?
Because your donation is infinitely precious and by supporting the Foundation, you allow the Institute to support tens of thousands of Quebecers every year:
- through prevention;
- through ultra-specialized care
- through the training of professionals;
- through research.
Together, we can make a difference and allow life to take its course. Thank you for supporting me by making a secure donation to my fundraiser.
