Who is Hospice Halifax?

Hospice Halifax is a compassionate and supportive community of staff, volunteers, and donors dedicated to making dying and living as comfortable and as meaningful as possible at the end of life. Our mission is to provide the best end of life care possible. Our services are free of charge due to the generosity of NSHA and our donors.

What is Kate’s Memorial Ride?

One of Hospice Halifax’s incredible nurses, Kate Mason, stepped forward with the idea to go on a memorial bike ride. Kate plans to ride one kilometer for every patient that died at Hospice Halifax in our first year of operation and is looking to turn this into a COVID-19 safe fundraiser!

This 127-kilometer ride from Lunenburg to Hospice Halifax is a big undertaking for an amateur cyclist like Kate, but she’s up for the challenge!

We know that our efforts are only possible because of the contributions we receive from generous donors like you, and we thank you again for believing in and supporting our mission.
